The 4th International Congress of Medieval and Modern Archaeology will be at the Institut d'Histoire de l'Art-Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne à Paris (France).
The topics are archaeology of urban space, archaeology of rural space, archaeology of technology, modern and contemporary archaeology, funerary archaeology, archaeogeography, environnemental archaeologies, and building archaeology.
The three great types of french archaeology institutions are represented: the preventive archaeology with the INRAP (Institut National de Recherches en Archéologie préventive), the territorial collectivities with the city of Saint-Denis and the city of Paris, the Culture ministry with the Musée d'Archéologie nationale and the Service Régional d'Archéologie d'Ile de France, the universities with University of Paris I and University of Paris 10.
